Love him or hate him, it is a sad day for baseball as one of the most visible, vocal, controversial and powerful owners in the history of the league has passed away at the age of 80. No report on what the cause of death was, but he has been ill for several years.
Personally, I wish he had bought his hometown Indians in the 70's instead of the Yankees.
