If you bought two boxes of A&G...

I want to know what your results were. Did you get 25% doubles from your second box? Since Topps is now sponsoring Gint-a-Cuffs, I would like to know what their thoughts are on so many doubles, and that is not even including my 8 SP doubles!

Did you see my post featuring the fat stack of doubles I ended up with? It's ridiculous!

I don't actually expect Topps to do anything about it though.

I'm one of the fortunate ones - I bought two hobby boxes the day my shop got them, and I received zero doubles. That kind of thing never happens to me

So far, I've busted 2 hobby boxes and 1 retail blaster...and I only have about 15 doubles (1 short print double and 1 insert double). I did end up with a bunch of extra National Pride cards but that's to be expected since they fall 1 per pack in both hobby and retail.

I wonder if people that bought two boxes from the same case made out ok versus those that bought a box from one case and a second box from another?

I'll be posting my thoughts soon. My second box results weren't that bad, but still not thrilled about it.

I got 2 boxes and I've opened one. I'm sure they are out of the same case. I'll let you know what I got when I bust it.

I didn't buy two boxes of Ginter, but I did buy two boxes of '08 Heritage and the base cards were practically identical. Luck of the draw I guess, along with some pretty non-random collating.

I bought THREE boxes and I still failed to pull a full base set. Lots of base and SP dupes.

OK, I don't feel so bad anymore, not that I want everyone to have lots of doubles like me, but that my boxes weren't out of the ordinary. Thanks, everyone.

I busted two boxes and got the same exact National Pride cards in each box... 2 - 25. Even if the boxes were from different cases, what are the odds of that happening ON ACCIDENT? Probably about the same as the odds of a major league baseball player busting two boxes of 09 AG and pulling his own rip card (cough cough pat neshek cough cough).

If you buy two boxes, there are no guarantees that you won't get doubles, and a lot of them. Heck, it's unlikely, but not impossible, that you could get nothing but doubles. It happens when you buy two random boxes of the same product. It is entirely luck of the draw when it comes to base cards, unfortunately.

Getting the exact same National Pride cards, I have a feeling is going to happen a disturbing amount of times because they are stupidly collated. The Baseball Highlights Sketches present that possibility too I think, though on a much smaller scale.
