Update on Group Break

I am back from Dallas, a little sadder, a little emptier, and very drained. It has been a tough weekend, especially for my wife. It is hard to watch a parent die, but much worse to see a sibling, a younger sibling, die so slowly and painfully. No one should ever have to go through it or watch another go through it. ALS is a terrible disease, and so little is known about it. I will be asking everyone to help, when they can and when asked, to support an ALS research foundation.

I am still waiting for a few checks to clear, but when they do, I will order the case and have it delivered 2nd day so that we can get this done before next weekend. I apologize for the delay. PayPal has some issues with clearing checks and bank transfers. It takes too long, in my opinion, but I am also at fault for not transferring some money to my account sooner.

My bad.

I will let you know more tomorrow, hopefully to let you know that the checks cleared and the case is ordered. Thanks for your patience.

She has not passed on yet. She is waiting for a "sign" before she asks to have her feeding tube removed. After that, Hospice will help ease her pain and hopefully ease the process.

You and your family are in my thoughts Dan, sorry to hear that you are dealing with this terrible illness.

Don't worry about how long it takes to order the case, there are a lot of things in life that are more important than small cardboard baseball cards.
